Port of Call: Falmouth

Disembarking at the Falmouth pier? Well, this pier was built specially to accommodate the largest cruise ships in the world, namely the Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Sea. From the start, Falmouth was a thoroughly planned town, with wide streets in a regular grid, public buildings and adequate water supply.  In fact, Falmouth had piped water even before New York City!

Falmouth has a number of interesting historic buildings in the Jamaican Georgian architectural style. Although the best way to capture the essence of Falmouth is to do a complete walking tour, there are some buildings that stand out, even more so after restoration. It is located in the parish from which the fastest human known to man today, Usain Bolt, was born!

On your stopover in Falmouth, you may visit Outameni Experience, Glistening Waters Restaurant and Marina, Greenwood Great House, Green Grotto Caves, Cranbrook Farm, Dunn’s River Falls, Bob Marley Mausoleum, do rafting on the Martha Brae or go  by Negril’s seven mile long beach along with Margaritaville & Rick’s CafĂ©.

Remember, whatever you want to do while you are in Jamaica, we will be here to assist you.  Also, please leave feedback with us. We would really like to know what would make your time ashore worthwhile!
